The SanctionedSuicide.com web site is currently providing forum-based coaching, advice, and detailed instructions about how to commit suicide … TO CHILDREN.  The site operators and supporters claim that access to the site is denied to anyone under the age of 18. However, a recent survey of the membership clearly shows that approximately 5-8 percent of the membership is under the age of 18. 

Even a cursory examination of the site clearly demonstrates that the site operators and members are well aware that there are minors using the site. They continue to advise and coach these minors on how to end their own lives.

In the United States, anyone under the age of 18 is legally a minor.  There is no ambiguity here. These are children, the site operators, and members know it, yet continue to discuss the act of suicide in great detail as if they are above or beyond both legal or moral reach.
